Join us on a fascinating journey inland to Nicosia, the world’s only divided capital since 1974. After crossing the historic dividing line, we continue to the charming seaside town of Kyrenia, renowned for its postcard‑perfect harbor and rich cultural heritage.
Our first highlight is a visit to Kyrenia Castle, an impressive fortress originally built by the Byzantines in the 7th century. Explore its storied walls and enjoy free time to wander the picturesque fishing harbor, lined with cafés, boats, and stunning coastal views.
We then travel to the enchanting village of Bellapais, home to the famous Bellapais Abbey—also known as the Abbey of Peace. Built in the 13th century, this beautifully preserved monastery features a serene church and cloister, offering breathtaking views over the Kyrenia coastline just 5 km away.
Our day concludes back in Nicosia, where you’ll have free time to stroll down the main shopping street and explore the charming old quarter of Laiki Yitonia, filled with traditional shops, local crafts, and inviting cafés.
A perfect blend of culture, history, and scenic beauty—this excursion promises an unforgettable experience.
