Famagusta

Cross the UN-patrolled border into northern Cyprus and visit some of the north’s most famous historical sites. The first stop of this day trip is Salamis Archaeological Site, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea from Cyprus’s east coast.

Salamis was the most brilliant ancient city in Cyprus and the capital of the island for more than a thousand years. Discover the Liberty Monument and the Cathedral of St John located in the centre of the old town of Nicosia. Despite its modest exterior, the interior of The Cathedral of St John will take you by surprise. You’ll be taken on a walking tour through the partially car-free old town within the Venetian Walls and visit Leventis Museum.

Ample free time will be provided for shopping or for lunch.

Double Dive

Whether you are traveling to Ayia Napa or Protaras with your family or with a no-diving partner, you can still combine your holiday with your passion for diving.

The dive packages for qualified divers, available from Ayia Napa or Protaras, offer great flexibility since divers may make their dives on the same day (for 1 or 2 dives) or over several different days. A flexible diving package for diverse interests. The selection of the diving sites in the Cape Grecko area will be decided on the day of your diving experience based on your abilities and weather conditions.

You will be picked up from your centrally located hotel in Ayia Napa or Protaras and transferred to the Dive Centre. The experienced staff of the dive center will check your diver’s credentials. You will be asked to complete a standard PADI paperwork to meet HSE requirements. Necessary equipment will be assembled and loaded into the vehicles by professional diving instructors. A pre-dive safety briefing will be given at the diving site on a specific day.

Enjoy a 45 minutes drive led by a divemaster at the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea.
